Our Final Restaurant Week Lunch at re:Verse

Pistachio Chevre Salad

Wishing time would go in reverse so we could do Restaurant Week over and over again, we chose re:Verse (ha) for our very last $15 lunch today.

The bright, sparkling dining room was full of early happy-hour-ers and late brunchers, but we were there to order off the Restaurant Week lunch menu for the last time this year.

Arugula and Pear Salad

We sampled both salads offered for the first course, the light and fresh Arugula and Pear Salad and the Pistachio Chevre Salad, a ball of warm pistachio-encrusted goat cheese served alongside a trio of crostinis and a small salad with olives, artichoke hearts, and yellow bell peppers.

Almond Picata Tilapia

Next up was the beautifully-presented Almond Picata Tilapia, a tilapia filet with an almond-picata compound butter. It was flavorful and flaky, served with a few asparagus spears and a bacon, onion, and parmesan potato gratin. We also tasted the hearty Crab Cake Sandwich, served on a fluffy brioche bun with a generous portion of fresh, seasoned fries.

Upside Down Apple Pie

We loved the dessert: an Upside-Down Apple Pie with Grand Marnier carmelized golden raisins and a graham cracker crust -- served with ice cream, of course.

Total tab: $15 per person, inclusive of a soft drink.
